I blog as often as I can, which is not as often as I would like. In fact if you're interested you could probably chart the busy times in my teaching load by referring to the 'dead periods' in my blog.

There are two blogs I work on: The Hole in Graphic Design, which is about urgent and exciting ideas in Visual Communication. There is also Graphic Jazz, which is generally me having a moan about people aiming to win awards by being clever with graphics and forgetting the poor user.

The Hole in Graphic Design is updated more often than Graphic Jazz, as my nature inclines me to get excited by new ideas every couple of seconds, whereas you never know when you'll stumble upon an egregious use of graphic style to paint over a weak idea. So Graphic Jazz needs less updating.
